Macintosh Configuration Sheet

1. Install Disk 1 and 2 ONLY if you have No Internet Software Installed.
    Ex.(Netscape, IE explorer)

2. Open the Mac TCP or TCP/IP under Control Panels and click More.
    (Make sure PPP is selected)

3. In the Obtain Address section:
    3a. Click Server.
    3b. Set the Gateway to 207.193.186.1
    3c. If asked set IP to be obtained via server
    3d. Set the box under Domain to micro.com.
        Set the under Domain IP Address to 207.193.186.6.
        If available set Secondary IP Address to 207.193.186.12
    3e. Click OK.

4. Open Config PPP which is in Control Panels.

5. Click New.
    5a. Make the PPP Server Name be Micro.Com .
    5b. Click OK.

6. Click Config.
    6a. Port Speed is 19200 for 14.4kbps modems and 38400 or 57600for 28.8 - 33.6kbps modems.
    6b. Flow Control should be CTS & RTS (DTR).
    6c. Tone Dial should be marked.
    6d. If you are local the Phone num should be 224-1111, or see http://www.micro.com/dialups.html for Nationwide Numbers.
    6e. The Modem Init should be ATZ.

7. Click Connect Script.
    7a. Make sure all Outs are selected and there is nothing in the middle.
    7b. Click OK.

8. Click Authentication.
    8a. Authentication ID is yourusername@micro.vbs.net .
    8b. Password is your PASSWORD that you signed up with to Micro.com.
    8c. Change the Timeout to 20 seconds.
    8d. Click OK.

9. Click Done.

10. To DIAL and log in to Micro.Com and log out:
    Click OPEN button to dial and log into the system. To HANGUP just select HARD CLOSE or SOFT CLOSE to end the connection.
    If the OPEN button is grayed out, then open Mac TCP or TCP/IP under Control Panels. There, make sure ONLY PPP is highlighted. Click the icons until only PPP is highlighted.

11. You are DONE!!! You now should be connected to the Internet. Continue by opening your Web Browser or e-mail program and ENJOY!
