Micro.Com Web Page Uploading: Disconnecting properly

Now that the files have been uploaded and secured, the only thing left to do is to disconnect from the WWW server. This may seem like a no-brainer, but there is an important step that is sometimes missed - logging out. Not logging out correctly leaves stale connections open and slows the whole server down. Furthermore, the stale connections must be manually closed by someone (me!).
To logout properly, simply click
and wait for the message shown to the left.
That's it! Once you see the goodbye message, click
|
to close WS_FTP.
If you like, you can now go back into your web browser and verify that the files were uploaded correctly.
